Norma Deal, age 90 passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Norma was born October 3, 1930 in San Antonio to W. Boyd and Aileen Smith. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and then from The University of Texas at Austin.
She was a lifelong member of Central Christian Church and an active member of Christian Women’s Fellowship. She also was active in the University of Texas Alumni Association and 40 years in the PEO Sisterhood, a philanthropic educational organization which assists young women in achieving their educational goals.
She was a loving wife, mother and friend who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Donald Deal; daughter and son-in-law Cynthia and Steve Willmann.
A visitation for Norma will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 from 11:00AM to 12:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin, TX 78218. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 10, 2021at 12:00 PM, at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Tx 78218. A committal service will occur Friday, September 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Mausoleum II, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A reception will occur Friday, September 10, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Sunset Reception Hall, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218.
