Noe O. Pena

Colonel Noe O. Pena, USAR, Retired born on June 2, 1923 in Roma, TX went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2015 at the age of 92. He is preceded in death by his parents Zenon and Celsa Pena, as well as his wife of 59 years, Irene Canales Pena. Noe is survived by his children Irene Pena Perez (Albert), Noe Albert Pena, and David Noel Pena (Alicia); 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters Celsa Hernandez and Eva Edna Pena; and numerous nieces and nephews. Noe served in the U.S. Army during WWII, as well as working for the Civil Service as an Internal Revenue Agent. Upon his retirement, Noe spent his time between his home in San Antonio, TX and his Ranch in The Ranch Country of Starr County TX. Visitation will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, TX 78238 Tuesday December 15, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. that same evening. The Funeral Mass will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 159 Camino Santa Maria, San Antonio, TX 78228 December 16, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. and the burial to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209 at 1:00 P.M.
