Nelda Y. Thomas, age 76, went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2015. She was born on December 31, 1938 to Leslie & Maurene Barr in Snyder, TX. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Paul Thomas; son, Curt Thomas; daughter, Brenda Harper; son-in-law, David Kierum; and brother, David Barr.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula Brissenden; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and brother, Grady Barr.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy. San Antonio, TX. Funeral Service will be 12 noon, Friday, February 6, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Club 12 of Alcoholics Anonymous.
