Natalie Rose Sonnen

Natalie was a graduate of Oliver Wendell Holmes High School in 2009. She was the Colonel of her school dance team and went on to dance with various organizations around San Antonio thereafter. Her love of dance was evident in every single performance. She always stood out of the crowd and would capture the audience with her smile. In 2017, she received her esthetician license and began working in skin care. She performed facials, and various skin and body treatments. She always took pride in the work she did and in educating those she worked with and did treatments on. Natalie always wanted her clients to feel good about themselves and made personal connections with those she encountered.

Natalie was a free wild-spirited young woman. When she walked into a room, it always lit up with her beautiful presence. She lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures, buying knick-knacks, spending time with family and friends, and adored her nieces and nephews. She always made time to listen and talk to them and was compassionate with them. Natalie was a great listener to everyone she knew and would lend a helping hand to those who needed it. She was witty, very spontaneous and loved to try new things. Her laugh was infectious and genuine, and she could always make you smile by telling a story or a joke. She was the life of the party on many occasions.

Natalie is survived by her parents David and Irene Sonnen: her sisters, Monica Sonnen (Jonathan), Sarah Sonnen (Trey), and Elyse Sonnen; nieces Isabella Sims and Ava Weixel; nephews Anthony and Luca Weixel; Aunt Hope Sonnen, other aunts and uncles, and several cousins.

A visitation for Natalie will be held Friday, May 20, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with family and friends sharing memories at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, Texas 78205. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM at La Trinidad Methodist Church, 300 San Fernando St, San Antonio, Texas 78207.
