Our brother Nazario Morales, was born on September 1, 1954 and was called to our Lord on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Nazario "Nacho", was a man of no earthly treasures but was abundantly blessed with a giving heart. He shared everything with anyone who was in need.
Although, he suffered most of his life with mental illness, poverty and hardships in life, he was always thankful to God for the little he had. His cross was bigger than most. Due to his mental illness he faced many hardships, yet he never lost his faith. We thank God for giving us a brother, who showed us how to be humble and believe in family. Nazario enjoyed fishing as a child and never lost his child like innocence.
He wrote children's books which he would give to his neighbors and family. He couldn't carry a tune but he loved to sing his heart out. He did sing the Sunday before his passing, he sang "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands" with his brother and sister, Sal and Terry. He also led them in prayer. As Christians we believe his new life is just beginning with our savior "Jesus Christ", where his dreams of being surrounded with family will be granted as we are here celebrating his new life. We love you Brother!
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus H. and Sara S. Morales.
He is survived by his siblings; Otilia Terry Zurita (Salvader), Carmen Salas (Estevan), Yolanda M. Gonzalez (Guadalupe P.I.D), Leticia M. Hernandez, Maggie Salazar (Roland), Susie Villarreal (Eddie P.I.D), Diana Zapata(Eloy), Rafael Morales (Christine) and Jose Morales. Nazario will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
