Nasario proudly served our country during the Korean War. He worked under the San Antonio Drug Company for 40 years. Nasario had a good variety of hobbies; he loved to eat, he also loved animals and being around all sorts of animals, Nasario also loved watching football. He would often be referred as "ninja" due to his athletic abilities. He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was seen as a kindhearted and generous man by his family and friends, and deeply loved his kids, grandkids and great grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his wife Leonarda Castro; sons Ruben Castro and David Castro.
Nasario is survived by his Son Daniel Castro; grandchildren Matthew, Adam, Ryan, Danielle, Bianca and Gabby; and 4 great grandchildren.
Nasario will be missed by those who knew him.
A visitation for Nasario will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. A rosary will occur Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 7:00PM to 8:00PM. A graveside service will occur Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 9:50 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
