Myles W. Carroll, aged 36 of Converse, TX entered eternal rest on September 7, 2020. Myles was born in Robbinsdale, MN to Kirk and Kathleen Carroll. He was a loving son and father, dedicated soldier and loyal friend who will be dearly missed by all whose lives he has touched.
Myles was a 2002 graduate from Judson High School and received an Associate’s Degree in Business Management from San Antonio College. He was committed to the US Army from 2007 – 2011 serving as a Satellite Communications Systems Operator, as well as a tour in Afghanistan from 2010-2011. He was an avid football fan supporting Penn State and the Denver Broncos. Myles was an avid music lover, especially Pink Floyd. His hobbies included cars, Star Wars, and doing legos with his daughter. His contagious smile and boisterous laugh was enjoyed by all.
Myles is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Becky Henry, maternal grandparents Franklin E. and Mary Juanita Moore and his beloved fur-baby Marty. He is survived by his parents, his daughter Payge and grandfather David Carroll.
A visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Austin Highway on September 21, 2020 from 12-2pm and the funeral will follow at 2pm with Military Honors and the presentation of the United States Flag. Mr. Carroll will be taken to his final place of rest at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on September 28, 2020.
