Minnie Sterling went to be with the Lord, June 28, 2012 at the age of 88. She is preceded in death by her parents Santiago & Santa Morales and son San Florentino Sterling Jr. Mrs. Sterling is survived by daughters Gloria Sterling, Linda Puentes (Albert), Annette Diaz (Richard); sons Larry Sterling (Pat), Jesse Garcia; 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; sister Genevie Moore and brother Joe Morales. A visitation will begin, Sunday, July 1, 2012, 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Monday, July 2, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
