I have nice and old memories of Ming from way back, the 60s. We were still kids then. My family lived in Socal, Ming and his family lived in the Bay Area. From time to time we would visit, and it was so exciting to drive up north and see SF and spend time with Auntie and Uncle and cousin Ming and his brothers Ted and Andre. Best wishes to the family.

Ming replaced me at C, Med Company, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division - 1985.  A total gentlemen and superb officer leader.  RIP


Therese, our hearts were torn today to hear of Ming's passing. Ming was a great man to know back in college days at the U of Idaho. Great Delta Chi brother, scholar (and volleyball player!). Our time together as friends can be all too short, life takes us our separate ways. So happy you and Ming have been together all these years, only wish it could have been even more. We had a special dinner evening with Ming and Theresa several months ago after our return to Texas from Tennessee. The Wongs were easy to love and enjoy their company. We will miss having more of those gatherings with Ming but knowing his eternal destiny comforts our heart here. Our heartfelt prayers for Theresa and the family will continue as they all complete their ordained destiny as well! We love you❤️🌷❤️🖌

My memory of Ming is him with his brothers, teasing each other and also probably teasing me and my sister.  He always seemed to be laughing.

I met Ming while working in healthcare in San Antonio. I was always amazed at his kind heart and his positivity. He was a man close to God and very loving of his family. He took his responsibility to his family very seriously. I enjoyed hearing his rationale for wearing gloves while driving his well maintained cars. I was impressed that Ming could eat ANYTHING and still be in great shape. Ming was kind hearted and giving. My family and I will miss him greatly. Until we see you again, my brother.

Ming has been a great next-door neighbor during the past ten years.  Really hard to lose him, so we can only imagine the sorrow Therese and the family are experiencing.  Always a gentleman and a fine friend to all, Ming will be a great addition to Heaven.

I am shocked! And stunned by the passing of Ming, I have been mowing the Wong's yard for at least 15 yrs. He has always as Therese had an encouraging word to say to me, always offering water and always helping me with encouragement when I have had questions that I wasnt able to process. I will miss him dearly.


Death brings pain that time can only heal.  No words can ease what we truly feel.  But with God Ming's joy is eternally sealed.  We should cherish Ming's memories that death cannot steal
Ming will be terribly missed.

Memories:
Ming and I were very close cousins nearly the same age

Ming and I spent our grade school years together particularly during the summers and the holidays.  
Ming and his brothers would visit us in the summer in Richland Washington.  My Brother and Sisters would spend time with his family in Southern California.

My Dad and Mom and I would take Ming out for lunch at the Univ of Idaho when he was studying ROTC in Moscow.

This was before he met Therese.

Ming was stationed at Ft Campbell as the Chief Financial Officer at the same time I was there with the 101st Airborne Div.

Ming was proud of his military service and fiercely loyal to the United States Army

Ming and I shared our love for smoking ribs and roast by competing with each other for the title of Mr. Barbecue

Ming and I enjoyed shooting guns and we always sharing photos of our firearms on email.

Ming almost moved to Washington State to be the Chief Executive Officer for our orthopedic group.  In the end he loved Texas too much to make the move.

Ming was very proud of his kids who are now grown and sharing with me photos of them.

Ming very much adored the love of his life - Therese

Ming was a true Christian and was devoted to God.

I am so sorry to hear of Ming's passing. I worked with Ming at Fort Campbell. He was always willing to teach me something in Resource Management. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family!

My fondest memory of Ming and there were many was how he started every message with brother or brothers . His friends were more than just that they were family . God bless you my brother. We miss your humor , smile and most important your friendship every day !

Mr. Wong always had a smile on his face and a kind thing to say.  He will be very missed.  Mrs. Wong and family are in my heart.  

Dawn and I are extremely saddened to learn of Ming’s passing. He was a great friend and colleague. I will remember him as a kind and gentle spirited man. His love and pride for his family was something he spoke of often. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Terese and the entire family.

Ming was an amazing friend. He had a great sense of humor and a giving heart. No words can express how sad his passing leaves me.  He would never say goodbye, only “later”.
