He was born on November 7, 1931 in Fort Worth, TX to the late Margaret (James) & Milton Duval Scott. Preceded in death, was his loving wife and Mother, Betty Jo Scott, stepson John B. Russell, his wife and loving mother, Sandy Russell. He was the youngest of four brothers and three sisters, whom preceded him in death, Aubrey Scott, Elmer Scott, Vernon Scott, Mabel Bishop, Juanita Roach and Lorraine Pevehouse.
Milton is survived by his three sons, Milton Dean Scott, Jr, his loving wife Naomi, Matthew Davis Scott and Mark David Scott; grandchildren, John “Rusty” Russell, Michael Hoover, Rick Hoover, Megan Burns, Jacob Scott, Michael Scott, Ryan Scott, Jennifer Fuentes, Arthur Linnartz, Kevin Linnartz, Cody Linnartz and Julian Garza.
Milton always had a zest for life. He was a pilot, dance instructor and businessman/entrepreneur and spoke fluent Spanish. He loved his family and was generous and loving to a fault. He met the love of his life, Betty while he was a dance instructor with Arthur Murray Dance studio in Fort Worth, she joined him in dance and they would dance every Sunday on WFAA-TV. Milton was a VP for General Finance Co and World Service Life Insurance Co. He also started up and owned two insurance agencies; Insuredata and Milton Scott & Associates, Inc. He owned a new car paint sealant, fabric sealant rustproofing companies named UltraSeal and Auto-guard and a pizza franchise named Crusty’s Pizza in Austin. He enjoyed his love for lake living with family and had lake homes on Lake Granbury, Lake Marble Falls and Canyon Lake.
