I do not know if I am correct but I am a 19 year old girl that was at Mission trails baptist hospital, I had been released out of ICU a week and a day later I saw, as he is known to me a "boy in a boom shirt" I was to week to stay long but I will not ever forget him, it was my first time out and I wanted to thank one of the nurses that saved me and I saw him. I'm sorry so sorry for your loss but know, I tried to call out to him before and know I have to find him. I still pray for him and his family but if this is them I can't explain why but I have this feeling. I was at Mission Trails Baptist hospital 3 days short of a month. I was saved, I truly hope this does not hurt your family. But the entire time and even now I pray that my illness doesn't hurt my loved ones. But if it ever does that they find peace. I have Facebook and social media @savingair I'm just looking for a young man who was going to lose his father, I care about him, I care about everyone. If not please forgive me but know I am still praying.

Words cannot express my feelings on the loss of Miles.  His memories as one of my very first (if not "the” first) best friends lives on in my mind & pictures.  As I hope you can also recall with a smile & fond memories, it seemed Miles & I were always up to something on Phoenix Ave:)  God truly blessed you with a wonderful son, and the remainder of us, a loyal friend -- as captured here in these entries from those who came to know him at various times & places over the years.  One common theme is all are better people for having Miles as part of their lives.  My prayers are with Miles, you, and his sons -- may his boys always vividly remember the fine man who will forever be their Daddy.  May God bless you and bring comfort & peace to your family.

Miles was my co-worker and friend at the Dania Beach station in Florida. He was a kind, gentle and loyal friend. He always made me smile. I am very blessed to have had the opportunity to have worked with him and call him my friend. Miles, we love you so much. We will never forget you. Thank you for sharing YOU with us.

Mike and Mary, Arch and I just learned this morning about the passing of Miles and want to pass along our sincere sadness in hearing this. We so remember seeing Miles for the first time, with that blonde hair and cute smile, and cherish   the fun times we shared as neighbors when living on Phoenix. Mike and Mary, I'm so deeply saddened and heartbroken to hear about Miles.  I'll always remember the great times Miles and I shared as kids growing up in Hollywood Park.. throwing the football, swimming, skateboarding, and most of all laughing for hours and hours.

I had a lot of buddies as a kid....not many of which had such a wild, and adventurous spirit, and genuine love of nature as Miles. I had the privilege of knowing Miles and working with him over the years in Miami. He was a great Patrol Agent and an even better friend. I still can't believe he is no longer with us. My deepest sympathy and prayers to his family. He will be greatly missed. R.I.P my brother.

Mike and Mary were our neighbors while we lived in San Antonio.  Miles was in college but we would see him when he came home.  We got to visit him when he was stationed in both San Diego and Bellingham.  He would fill us in on his job and how much he loved what he was doing. His life was cut way too short.  Thanks Miles for keeping our country safe.  May you rest in peace and continue to watch over us all.

We were coworkers and friends in California and Florida.  Miles was one of the best friends a person could have.  It breaks my heart that he is gone.  Miles will be missed by all.  I miss you Miles.

Miles Malone is a great American who dedicated his life to protecting the United States. He was our co-worker, friend and brother.  He had a rare quality in that he was loved by everyone. We will miss him.  Rest in eternal peace in the loving hands of God my Brother.

I worked with Miles in Washington, and I was sad when he transferred to Florida. He was a great guy to work with, and it is an honor to have known him. My condolences to his family.

Miles and I spent 4/5 days a week working out together our Junior and Senior years of high school up at Sonterra.  One of us got more muscle mass than the other.  :)
