She was an expert seamstress who made most of her clothing.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother.
Survived by husband of 63 years, Crockett E. Rhodes; daughter, Carole Murphy and husband, Tom of Houston; grandchildren, Terri Driskill of La Porte, Traci Gelofsack and husband, Mike of Waco, Tammi Stevenson and husband, Kacey of Humble; seven great grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers; numerous nieces and nephews.
