Mike Villa Sr.

Mike Villa entered rest in San Antonio, TX at the age of 93 on June 14, 2015. Born on May 7, 1922 to Antonio and Simona Villa in Yorktown, TX, he now reunites with his parents; step-mother, Tomasita; son Edward; siblings: Rosita, Leon, Rudy, Rebecca, John & wife Lupe, Raymond & wife Ygnacia; brother-in-law, Ray and grandson's Patrick and Richard. He is survived by his children Mike Jr., Ana; siblings: Stella, Mariann, Amada, Sylvia (Fernando), Ramona (Greg), Joe (Janie), Robert (Minnie); in-laws: Frances, Linda, John; grandchildren: Mike III, Toni, Chris, Brandi, Ginger, Ida; great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Mike served his Country during WWII and was the recipient of several medals and ribbons. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Christus Santa Rosa Westover Hills & Westover Hills Rehabilitation&Healthcare Center for the care they provided. Visitation will begin Monday June 22, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Roy Akers Funeral Home. The Mass of Resurrection will be held Tuesday June 23, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with a one-hour visitation prior to Mass. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
