It's been 2 months, and I still can't believe you are gone. I miss you every day, and I don't think I am ever going to be able to wrap my head around you not being here. I love you, and I miss you so much. You will never leave my heart, even though you took a huge piece with you when you left.

Shaun you were such a funny guy! And you were so down to earth and caring. I always enjoyed listening to the stories about you and Kristin growing up and the trouble the two of you would get into. You were such a family man who LOVED being a father to beautiful Mia. You are truly going to be missed, I'm so blessed that I had the honor of knowing you and you will always be in my heart. May peace be with you and your family.

Shaun, I never had the pleasure of meeting you, but I know how much your sister Kris loved you, and if you were anything like her the world is truly at a loss, but I am glad she will have an angel looking over her, and we will gladly take your spirit with us wherever we go.

Dearest Grandson-in-law,
we loved you well because you let us into your heart, and we love you still. 
Your beautiful daughter Mia Rose, and Mammu and I shall miss our Thursday night enchilada dinners!
Although a grandson-in-law by marriage to Mia's mom, you have been like a son to Mammu and me, and we grieve over our loss of you. You so very lovingly shared your family with us, and we shall go on loving you by continuing to include them in our lives.
We rejoice in your relief from suffering and in your joy of those heavenly lands we visit in our meditations.

God is willing that we shall meet again.
