Michael Anthony Hernandez

As a child, he attended Mt. Sacred Heart, Blessed Sacrament, and St. Anthony’s where he excelled in many sports. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee, Class of 1992, where he made many lifelong friends and memories. On December 31, 2001 he welcomed his only daughter Alyssa Marie Hernandez into the world, she was his pride and joy and made him proud each and every day.

Michael truly lived life to the fullest, mostly enjoying quality time with his many friends and family, cooking, playing softball, and watching his favorite sports teams play. Michael had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. He always knew how to make anyone laugh and have a good time--but most importantly he always had the best intentions at heart, no matter how it was displayed.

He is survived by his mother, Maria (Lucy) Hernandez; daughter, Alyssa Hernandez; fiancée Heather Reetz; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
