Michael Anthony Gurule

Michael Anthony Gurule, age 65 passed away October 4, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on August 13, 1955 in Los Angeles, California. He was raised by both mother and father, Robert and Dora Conn. He is survived by his wife Diamantina Gurule; daughters, Christina (Jose) Lara, Rochelle (Dennis Dasch) Gurule ; sons, Robert Anthony Gurule, Michael Anthony Gurule II; grandchildren, Nicholas Anthony Gurule, Alyssa Gurule, Jay Reyes, Isabella Gurule, Stylez Lara, Analisa Gurule, Joleen Gurule, Neveah Moreno, Gisele Moreno and Miles Dasch; brother, John Marcus Gurule; sisters, Jennifer Antionette (Chris) Catechis, and Elizabeth Jaramillo. Michael, (FCC) Fire Control Chief, retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of dedicated service, later he received his Bachelor’s degree from Texas A & M in Corpus Christi. He was a Special Education Teacher for 11 years at Whittier Middle School. He loved his career and especially spending time with his family. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 of Friday, October 11, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Interment will follow at a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, with U.S. Navy Honors.
