My cousin Mike, was brought up in a very loving and caring family.  It showed through out his life. Mike, had that uplifting smile, gentle soul,and kind heart. We were all blessed to have known Mike.  May God bring Peace and Grace to the entire Gimblet family.

Vickie and Morgan you have my sympathy for the loss of Mike.  Although I have been retired from GPM for over 17 years, I still remember playing a role in hiring Mike.  I knew he had great promise in making the computer do things that would help the company over a period of many years.  From what I observed and from what I have heard from active employees, Mike delivered the best.  While I attended the Mass this morning, I was unable to sign the book or visit with you personally.   Also, please express my sympathy to the other members of your family.

Dear entire Gimblet Family -  I am Magda (Paquita's daughter), and I am so very sad to learn about Michael's passing.  I'm away on business travel and when I heard the news from my sister Letty, I was very saddened and cannot help thinking about the great loss this wonderful human being has created.  I am honored, as is my entire family, to have known him and pray that the Lord will guide you through this difficult time.

I feel sorrow for your loss.  I worked with Mike at GPM Life Insurance Company before I retired in '95, with only once-a-year GPM get-togethers since then. My mother contacted me today and advised me of our loss.  I was at work and simply had to close my office door and reflect on life and how people at all stage of my life have had a profound affect on me.  Mike and I attended St. Paul's Catholic School and he was one of my closest freinds while I was there.  Although I didn't finish at St. Paul's, and only saw him a few times after I left, I often thought of him as he was such a fun, kind, and good elementary school friend.  Life gets away from us and it does mean something when after all these years, you still think of people who touched you.  Mike was one of those persons for me.  My heartfelt sympathy for the entire family.

My deepest sympathies to the entire family.  Mike was a great friend of mine in grade school and high school.  We were on many sports teams together and we shared many emotions during school, sports and friendship.  I'm sorry to say we hadn't seen each other in many years and I wish we had.  I'll remember him as such a good-natured and caring person.  He always showed interest in how you were doing more so than how it was going for him.  I live in Colorado Springs and unfortunately will not be able to be there to say farewell.  I heard the news from my family yesterday and happened to be traveling. I found a special place to say a prayer for him and for the family.  It is one of the most beautiful places in this country and happens to be on the highest single span bridge in the world. It connects the Royal Gorge in Colorado and overlooks the fast flowing Arkansas River.  It was a great place to talk to Mike and reflect on his friendship and our times together.  Please accept my heartfelt condolences from a distance.  God Bless.

Mike was the best neighbor we had.  I loved how he always greeted our family and didn't mind if our kids threw their balls or other things in his backyard.  He will be missed greatly.
