Micaela R. Moreno born on May 8, 1923 went to be with our Lord on June 17, 2019 at the age of 96. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 78 years, Jesus R. Moreno Sr. Parents, Celestino and Isabel Ramirez. Children; Mary Jane Moreno, Joe Manuel Moreno, and Andrew Moreno. Siblings; Celia Ramirez, Joe Ramirez, John Ramirez, Agapito Ramirez, and Mary Ramirez. Michaela is survived by her loving children; David Moreno, Mike Moreno, James Moreno, and Jesus Moreno Jr. Also, by her 16 adoring grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Micaela will be dearly missed by all her close family and friends. She was known for being a selfless individual, always caring for all those close to her. Micaela was a devoted Guadalupana for many years and volunteered at south west general hospital, she enjoyed teaching catechism, reading, writing, and sewing. The visitation will be held Monday, June 24, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that evening. On Tuesday, June 25, 2019. The mass of resurrection will take place at St. Henry’s Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at San Fernando Cemetery II.
