Matilde M Lozano

Matilde M. Lozano entered eternal rest on August 10, 2016 at the age of 90. A native of San Antonio, Texas; she was born to Jose Angel and Justina Manzanares on January 10, 1926. She now reunites with her parents, husband Rosendo Lozano, and sister Soledad. She is survived by her daughter Elsa L. Perez and husband George, son Hector Lozano, grandchildren: Marisa Perez-Diaz (Rafael), Vianney Perez, Vincent Perez, Jeremy Perez, great-granddaughter Catalina Yaretzi, sister Felipa Martinez, and her friends at the Frank Garrett Center. Matilde lived a blessed life and enjoyed traveling the states. She loved to press her luck on the slot machines, loteria, and lottery tickets. Her favorite outing was lunch or dinner at Olive Garden as she also enjoyed spending her down time doing word puzzles. One of her most memorable trips was her 90th birthday celebration on a cruise with her daughter and grandchildren. Her love and presence will be missed by all who knew her. The family will be receiving guests at the funeral home on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. to celebrate at 12:30 Mass of Resurrection. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
