Mary F. Swartzmiller, 92, of San Antonio, Texas entered eternal life on December 2, 2017. Mary was born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Conrad and Mary Kownslar on November 3, 1925. She was sweet, kind and loving and built her life around caring for the family. She adored her grandchildren and welcomed all spouses into the fold. She was a devout Catholic all her life. She also loved playing bridge and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Doran Swartzmiller of 34 years, sister Lillian Gibson and brothers Herbert and Robert Kownslar. Mary is survived by her sister Nell Walker, children Carl (Virginia) Swartzmiller, Karen (Robert) Kneipp, Kenneth (Jean) Swartzmiller, Paul Swartzmiller and Robert Swartzmiller, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church at 3 PM Dec. 9, 2017. Burial will be in Old Fort, Ohio at a later date.
