Mary Rose Roberts of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the age of 86. She was born on October 4, 1929 to Frank and Rose Dyer in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
She was married to Vernon W. Roberts, Sr. on January 2, 1952 and they were married for 38 years. Mary Rose worked for the Non-appropriated Funds Department at Kelly A. F. B., Brooks A. F. B., in the Azores, and Wright-Patterson A. F. B. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, and her brother, John Dyer. Mary Rose is survived by her son Vernon W. Roberts, Jr. of Orlando, Florida, as well as friends, and caregivers.
The visitation will be at 5:00 pm on Monday, July 11th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 16075 N. Evans Rd., Selma, Texas with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. The burial will be on Tuesday, July 12th at 10:30 am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
