Mimi, as she was affectionately called, was born on March 7, 1940, in Houston, Texas to F.H. and Anne Angermiller. She was the eldest of four children. She attended school in Corpus Christi and lived the majority of her life there.
As a teen, MaryAnne modeled for Lichtenstein’s. She later worked in finance, was church secretary at Arlington Heights Church of Christ, and then worked in the funeral industry for Cage-Mills (SCI) for 35 years before retiring in 2015.
MaryAnne dedicated her life to Christ at a young age. She was a member of Hillcrest, Arlington Heights, Windsor Park , and Kings Crossing COC. Some of her fondest memories were the time she spent with the Children’s Bible hour, teaching Sunday school, and working as a camp counselor at Camp Bandina.
MaryAnne spent her life surrounded by family and friends. She enjoyed reading, playing games, cooking, and “taco Saturdays.” Her greatest joy, though, was her daughter and grandchildren.
Preceding MaryAnne in death are her parents, F.H. and Anne Angermiller; sister, Sharon Polasek; brother, Jimmy Angermiller.
Survivors include her daughter, Tanya (Elroy) Nichols; 4 grandchildren, Mykall, Ayana, Nya and Aaron; sister, Kathy Parnell; nephew, Steve Fredrick; niece, Jennifer Diggs; 3 great-nephews, Robert (Candace) Diggs, Christopher and Connor Moore; and a great-great nephew, Russell Diggs. She is also survived by her dear close friends Betty (Jerry) Swails and Eddie (Diann) Rech.
She will be sorely missed by all who were touched by her presence.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11am at Kings Crossing Church of Christ in Corpus Christi, Texas.
