Mary Lou H. Solar entered eternal rest December 3, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 73. She was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas to Richard and Angelina on June 19, 1948.

Mary is preceded in passing by her parents Richard and Angelina Huizar.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Robert C. Solar; daughter, Stephanie Oliva (Tim) and grandson Mason Rios. Her sisters Tina Arzola, Minerva Herrera, Rebecca Mackey, Carol Garcia, Rosario Martinez, Norma Aguillon, EdnaFarias, Monica Huizar, and Diana Martinez.

The family will welcome guests for a public viewing Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 6:00- 9:00 PM with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home at 1701 Austin Hwy San Antonio, Texas 78218. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 10:00 am, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 4411 Moana Dr. San Antonio, Texas 78218. With a funeral procession departing the funeral home at 9:30. Interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:30 am.
