Mary Margaret Stewart Herrera

Mary Margaret Stewart Herrera, born on March 30, 1936 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada passed away March 2, 2024 at the age of 87. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert John and Katherine Mary Stewart; husband, Andrew Herrera; son, Darrell Herrera. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela A. Pate of Houston; son, Howard (Gloria) Herrera of Austin; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Herrera of Austin; grandchildren: Heather (Randall) Wells, Natalie (Aaron) Hinkley, Bryan Herrera, Jeff (Jessica) Martinez and Travis Herrera; great granddaughter, Brooklyn Harper Wells.

The Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2024 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at St. John Berchmans’ Catholic Church, 1147 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78226. Interment San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christus VNA Hospice of San Antonio, 5253 Prue Rd., Ste. 315C, San Antonio, TX 78240.
