Mary Helen Garcia

Mary H. Garcia, born September 15, 1933 entered into rest December 30, 2017. Mary joins her beloved husband, Alfonso Juan Garcia. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Michael C. and Isabell Rangel and brother, Michael D. Rangel. Mary is survived by her sons, Alfonso Miguel Garcia (Sara Alicia) and Albert Lirico Garcia (Elizabeth Aguilar); grandchildren, Christopher Alex Garcia, Cristina Garcia and Sean Luc Garcia. Mary and her husband would sing in the church choir. Some of her hobbies include sewing, knitting, cooking, watching t.v., and reading. She enjoyed going to see the horse races and tending to her flowers and plants in her garden.

The visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The funeral procession will depart at 11:30 a.m. from the funeral home Friday, January 12, 2018 for a 12:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. John Berchmans’ Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
