Mary Cecilia Chavez was called home to be with the Lord, on March 20, 2014 at the age of 83. She is preceded in death by her parents Pablo & Juana Chavez, siblings; Alejandro Chavez, Benigno Chavez, Bertha Rodriguez, Margarita Solano, Elena Rodriguez and Alicia Gonzalez. Mary is survived by her loving brother Paul Chavez, sister Guadalupe Garza and numerous nieces,nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.A procession will depart the funeral home Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass of resurrection at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
