Mary E. Autry

Mary Autry succumbed to pneumonia on January 29, 2012 after dealing with declining health conditions the past six months. Mary was ready to meet her Lord Jesus and share the afterlife with her beloved husband of 61 years, Monte Autry, who passed to his heavenly home in March, 2000. Mary & Monte are survived by their daughter, Judy Autry Musgrove of Houston, TX. They are also survived by Hohner and Autry nieces and nephews and several long-time dear friends.

A native of San Antonio, Mary will be missed and remembered for being a spunky little lady who loved laughing and visiting with neighbors, friends and family. As her hair turned white and her height diminished, Young and Old found an irresistible urge to hug Mary. Needless to say, it made her day and everyone around would be sharing the joy of that random act of kindness. Through her years in San Antonio before retiring to Boerne, Mary contributed her time and effort to various groups including PTA, School "Room Mother," Edison High Band Parents, Trinity Methodist Church, WSCS, Ada Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, SAISD LVN training program and Boerne chapter of NARFE.

Mary Autry requested graveside services only and memorial gifts to your local church or favorite charity instead of floral remembrances.

Mary & Judy extend their thanks to her care givers of the past year, especially Lisa and T&CM in Boerne.
