Maritza Sasso

Maritza Sasso, known as Mitzi to all that loved her went on to make new friends in the heavens above. She was born in Colon, Republic of Panama March 1941 and passed on July 13, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. She was preceeded in death by her parents Mortiz and

Juliette Sasso , aunt Estelle Sasso, uncle Ronald Sasso and cousin Randy Alberga. She is survived by cousins Robert Sasso, Sarita Quackenbush, Anne Sullivan, Myrna Dubroff, Cliff Sasso and members of the Alberga and Franklin families.

Mitzi came to the United States in 1961 and later earned her American citizenship. Her professional career included positions in medical equipment companies and decades as Director of Materials Management Departments in California Hospitals. Later, Mitzi was certified to provide hands-on expertise for fitting of home care medical supplies and equipment. She excelled in dealing with frail and elderly patients.

She retired to San Antonio eight years ago. Mitzi never met a stranger and had numerous friends at the time of her death. Mitzi is loved and will be greatly missed by her surviving family and many friends in Panama, California, Florida and Texas. Her beloved pets include Miss Kitty, Spot and Buddy, who have all found loving homes. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Pedrottis North Wind Ranch 13715 FM 1560N Helotes, TX, 78023.
