Mario R. Garza of Delray Beach, FL. Born in San Antonio, TX, went to be with Jesus on April 28th, 2020. Preceded in death by his parents, Armando A. Garza and Maria Rivera Garza and "Guardian Angel" son, Joshua Ross Garza. Respected and loving father to Nichole (Nikki) Garza, Matthew Garza, and proud grandfather (PAPA) to Kassidy. Dear husband to Lisa Garza. Treasured big brother (Bro) to Yolanda, Sylvia, Armando, and, Monica. Cherished brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend.
In Mario's younger years, he was an avid baseball player like his father and siblings. He graduated Airborne Ranger Class 6-81 where he served proudly with the 82nd Airborne Division, 75th National Ranger Regiment, US Army Special Operations Forces Command. He also worked as an Electrical Contractor for most of his life and took pride in his projects. He later obtained his Florida State Electrical Contractors Unlimited License. Mario was a hard and honest worker. He leaves a legacy of work both in the state of Florida and Texas.
He loved spending time with his family and loved going to church and was always up for a good movie, especially, double features! Mario loved the Lord with all his heart. He had a deep faith and ministered to many. He was always a great provider to his family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for

at Sunset Memorial Park And Funeral Parlor -

Time- 4-8 PM
Due to Covid restrictions and regulations, unfortunately, it will be for the immediate family by invitation only.
Mario will be HONORED with a Full Military Burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Monday April 12, 2021
Time -11AM
ALL are ENCOURAGED and WELCOME to join us at BOTH ceremonies to celebrate Mario's life and to watch his Military Burial via live stream on Facebook. If you do not have Facebook, there will be a link provided on the day of the services. It will be posted on the Sunset Funeral Home obituary page.
