Marie M. Carter age 81, passed away on May 22, 2019. She was born on August 13, 1937 in Bristol, Pennsylvania. Marie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Rocco and Yolanda Manzo, her husband, George Carter; and her great granddaughter, Payton Carter. She is survived by her children, Ed Carter, John Carter (Barbara), and Rochelle Jackson; her grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, Jerrod, Cody, Jonna, and Gerrick Carter; her siblings, Barbara Morris (Harry), and Rocco “Butchie” Manzo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30th from 1-3 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to take place at 3:00 pm. Burial will be on Friday, May 31st at 11:00 am at the Miller Creek Cemetery; 2029 Miller Creek Cemetery Rd; Johnson City, TX.
