Marian J. Messer

She was born January 18, 1917, in Wichita Falls, TX, to the late Lester and Emma Marie Derby.

Marian was a member of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church.

A selfless soul, she found joy in helping others as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for many years until her retirement.

Marian's beauty went beyond her gracious smile, as it was her inner beauty and loving nature that was very evident in the way she loved her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Perle R. Messer; brothers, Norman Derby and Lester Derby, Jr.

Marian is survived by her children, Pam Schmidt and husband Jerry, Patricia Sandoval and husband Sergio, Mary Messer, Mark R. Messer and Marji Messer; grandchildren, Amber Medina and husband Matt, Ashley Schmidt, Chris Branch and wife Karen, Ben Sandoval and Solace Burris; great-grandchildren, Peter, Timothy and Joshua Medina, Laura and Kara Branch, Devin and Adelia Burris; siblings, Evelyn Cox, David Derby and wife Marsha, DiAnne Lewis and husband Jerry; many nieces and nephews.
