Maria Nava Villaseñor

Maria was born on January 31,1932 in Pearsall, Texas. She married Bernardino(Nino) Villaseñor in Laredo, Texas on April 30,1950.

Maria raised seven children, while working and eventually had a significant role in raising the next generation when she became a grandmother. Maria always managed to put her family first as a devoted wife, mother, sister, tià, grandmother, prima and comadre.

Maria enjoyed dancing, listening to Tejano and Mariachi music, watching her telenovelas, making crafts, and cheering on the Spurs, Cowboys and Astros.

Maria is survived by her seven children: Bernie(Yadira), Raul(Terry), Albert, Lee(RosaElva), Terry(Joe), John and David. Her 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Bernardino Villaseñor, her parents Antonio and Herminia Nava, and her brothers Jesus and Ramon Nava.

Services will be held at Funeraria del Angel Trevino on May 31,2022, Visitation at 5:00pm, Rosary at 7:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00pm on June 1,2022 at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church the burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
