Maria De La Luz S. Valdez

Maria de la Luz S. Valdez, born on October 2, 1932 in Monterey,Mexico was called to be with The Lord on February 3, 2023 at the age of 90. Mrs. Valdez was the manager for Rangel Music Company for over 30 years. She had a passion for cooking. She also enjoyed traveling. She retired in 1984 and enjoyed going on a wonderful trip to Hawaii.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonardo and Margarita Sanchez.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Pedro M. Valdez; daughters, Edna V. Lomas and her husband, Ramiro; Elsa Nalley and her husband, Donald; grandchildren, Ambrosio (Beau) Rodriguez, Andres (Dru) Rodriguez, Matthew Nalley and Krysti Cooper; great grandchildren, Jordan Rodriguez, Lexi Rodriguez, Dylan Rodriguez, Austyn Rodriguez, Edie Jeau Rodriguez and Iris Jae Rodriguez; great great granddaughter; brother, Lionel Sanchez and his wife, Soledad; also, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

The Rosary and Chapel Service will be conducted 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 17, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery III.
