Maria J. Solis born on March 2, 1917 in Villa Union, Coachuila, Mexico, went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2012 at the age of 95. She is preceded in death by her husband, Desiderio Solis. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Alma and Gregorio P. Torres, Yolanda and Teodoro De La Cruz and Martha Blanquiz; grandchildren: Omar J. Torres, Griselda Vargas, Jacob De La Cruz, Michelle Talamantez, and Alberto S. Saucedo, Jr.; also, 15 great grandchildren and many other relatives. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday March 19, 2012 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a 7:00 p.m. Rosary that same evening. A procession will depart from the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012 for an 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2.
