Maria R Saenz

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus & Guadalupe Ramirez; beloved husband, Fred R. Saenz; brothers, Jesus Ramirez, Roberto Ramirez, Jacobo Ramirez, Nicolas Ramirez, and Felix Ramirez and sisters, Virginia Ramirez, Carolina Ramirez, Adelfina Ramirez, Guadalupe Ramirez and Rafaela Ramirez.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Norma Araiza and her husband Raul Araiza; grandchildren, Andrew Araiza (Tiffany), Erik Araiza and Regina Araiza and her great grandson, Archie Araiza.

Maria worked for many years at the Centro del Barrio Senior Center when she was younger. She enjoyed working in her garden, maintaining the appearance of her yard and cooking delicious meals for her family. She learned to make tamales and they soon became a holiday tradition, she would also make great thanksgiving feast to share with those she loved most.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Resurrection will be Celebrated on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 11:30 AM at St. Leonard's Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
