Maria G. Reyna, age 80, passed away Friday, July 15, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on August 27, 1930 in Hays County, Texas to Vicente & Modesta Garza. Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Reyna and granddaughter, Janet L. Maciel. Survivors include her sons, Felipe G. Gomez & wife, Patricia, and Luis Gomez; her daughter, Aurora Ramirez; eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; sister, Adela Vasquez & husband, Juan; and other loving family. The family would like to thank Patricia G. Leal and Heart to Heart Hospice for all their special care and support. Visitation will take place from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. rosary to be recited on Monday, July 18, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
