She is preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Juvencia Gonzales; husband, Luis Levine; son, Jimmy Martinez and 7 siblings.

Maria is survived by her children, Margaret Marquez (Serapio), Annette Boivin, Mario Ramon, Luis Martinez, and Virginia Levine; grandchildren, Paul Marquez, Jeremy Marquez, Michael Marquez, Mary Levine, Noah Ramon, Casandra Ramon and Kevin Alva; great grandchildren, Aubrianna Marquez, Jayden Marquez, Zayden Marquez, Adilynn Garza, Serenity Garza, Roman Garza and Xavier Garza; Siblings Gloria Bawa, Ángel Gonzales, Abel Gonzales, Adam Gonzales.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Trevino Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. On Friday, April 22, 2022 a procession will depart the funeral home at 9:15 am for a Mass of Resurrection to be celebrated at 10:00 am at San Fernando Cathedral. Interment will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
