Maria Luisa Garcia-Francis went to be with the Lord on October 30, 2011 at the age of 62. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Q. and Consuelo Garcia. She is survived by her siblings Josie G. Leza, Juan Pablo Garcia and Mary M. Martinez; nieces and nephews Lisa Boston, John Paul Garcia, Richard A. Martinez, Jr., David Leza and Kelly Rene Martinez; numerous grand nieces and nephews; thank you to the many friends she had for their friendship over the years. Maria was a proud and dedicated worker for 40 years at USAA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org . A visitation will begin 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2011 with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, November 3, 2011 for 10:00 a.m. mass at St. Alphonsus. Interment to follow in San Fernando No.2.
