Maria Isabel Garcia

Maria Isabel Garcia, age 63, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. She was born in San Antonio TX to Merced and Alejandra Perales Palacios. Maria was a retail manager for the community thrift store. She enjoyed camping, fishing, sports and reading. She will be missed dearly.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Merced and Alejandra Palacios, brothers, Raymond Aguilar, Ruben Aguilar, Mecerdes Aguilar, Richard Aguilar, sisters Anna Aguirre and Lilly Dominguez.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Simon M. Garcia, children, Miguel Martinez, Emily Guerra, James Martinez, Robert Martinez, John Martinez, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and relatives.

A visitation for Maria will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211. A Chapel service will begin at 12:30PM at the funeral home with a committal service to follow at 2:15 PM at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209.
