Maria Cristina Esparza

Maria Cristina Esparza, a faithful servant of God, received the grandest invitation to celebrate eternal life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 26, 2017 at the age of 78. She was born on September 15, 1939 in Piedras Negras, Mexico. She was a living example of faith, prayer and never giving up hope in God’s promises. Her 19-year battle with heart disease far surpassed the expectations of medical doctrine when she was only expected to survive one year after her diagnosis in 1998.

Cristina is reunited with her beautiful mother Natalia Macias and brother Juan Dominguez. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 52 years, Feliciano Esparza. She leaves fond memories and a legacy of faith with son Feliciano Jr. and wife Anna, daughter Elizabeth “Lisa” Vara and husband Robert, and son Benito and wife Dimona; grandchildren Alejandro Esparza, Nicolas Esparza, Jessica Esparza, Isaiah Esparza, Maggie Ramirez, Andrew Vara, and Joshua Vara; and great-granddaughters Ariana Esparza, Annalise Ramirez, and Alaina Esparza. She is also survived by her sister, Esther Acosta, brother Rogelio Dominguez, numerous beloved nieces, nephews and additional loving family and friends.
