Maria T. Beltran, born on May 21, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas, was called to be with the Lord on January 25, 2014 at the age of 60. She was a devoted Christian and loved to sing and pray for people. She loved flowers and gambling but most of all she loved her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Manuel G. Moreno; sister, Lucy H. Moreno. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, John Beltran, Sr.; sons, John Beltran, Jr. (Martha), Andrew Beltran (Angel), Samuel Beltran, Jacob Beltran, (Crystal) and Jordan (Cristal); mother Vicenta H. Moreno; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Irene, Rosie, Becky and Janie; brothers, Rudy, Manuel, Robert, Carlos, Ray and Joe. Visitation will be from 5:00p.m to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Prayer Service at 7p.m. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 30, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with The Rev. Victor Friday officiating.
