Margarita Macias Cantu born on August 15, 1928 was called to be with the Lord on April 4, 2014, with family by her side, at the age of 85. She was a devout and faithful Catholic. She enjoyed riding the Via Transit Bus every day. She is preceded in death by her son, Raul Cantu, Sr. She is survived by her son, Jesse Cantu (Rosie); Daughter-in-law, Ruth Cantu; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Maria Ramos; also, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2.Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, San Antonio, TX.
