Margaret E Stein

Margaret Elizabeth Stein, age 96, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2011. She was born to Arthur Washington Heath and Katie Leah Sisk on August 8, 1914, in Pflugerville, Texas. Margaret always held a zest and love for life, and was a truly exemplary Mother and Grandmother. She was one of the few who was able to fulfill her “bucket list” in life, which included extensive travel abroad. She was preceded in death by her parents, her Husband John Stein and her son, Floyd Stein. Survivors include her Daughters, Elizabeth Stein Schmidt and her husband Gary and Linda Stein Sims; Grandchildren Cynthia Laskowski and husband John, Cody Schmidt and wife Kristine, Kevin Schmidt, Kelley Schmidt, Kimberley Schmidt and fiancé Tyler Kelsey, Katy Schmidt, Margaret Dempsey and Dawn Cates; Great Grandchildren Katelyn Schmidt, Kaylee Schmidt, Drake Sharples, Vance Dempsey, Trenton Dempsey, Kaleb Dempsey, Aurora Faase, Kasey Klaasen and Alaina “Sister” Klaasen; Sister Dorothy Young; numerous Nieces and Nephews and her beloved Cat “Puda-Pie”. Visitation will be at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Thursday, May , 12, 2011 with a Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 4201 Dezavala, San Antonio, Texas on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 12:30 pm with Interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
