He was a dedicated musician, some of my favorite music practices happened in his house. It was full of art, color, and homey vibes. He had the best snacks <3

It was always really nice to turn and see Marco smiling back from his station, where he played over 3 instruments!

this was a very special performance we had with Marco. He was always very sweet and easygoing. This day he was excited, as we all were.

We went to celebrate one of their last performances during the Fiesta SATX Film Festival which I am so grateful for. Looking at this picture I still cannot believe that he is not with us physically but he lives in our memories and hearts

This was the day we debut the first video I directed “Siempre” for Dharma Paxx. It was a pleasure working with everyone during the first and second video “YoUniverso” 
The words that I hear “live like you are going to die tomorrow, learn like you are going to live forever, learn like you are going to live”
He loved art, music and sharing it with the world

I was amazed at Mark's courageousness at his time of sickness and his intense hope and faith in brighter days to come.  I will always remember my loving nephew.  May you rest in internal peace.

A very heartwarming condolences to Marco's immediate family and friends.  Marco is a huge lost, we would always cross paths through the AV industry which he was a big part of.  It makes me sad that he is no longer with us, he really made an impact on how to be a true professional no matter what company he was working with.  Always very cool to talk to and willing to help you in anyway.  He would always share his ideas and how he could improve at his craft.  We also share the same name and when we worked together, we would confuse the companies Lead Project Manager.   Just so many fun memories with Marco, he will always be missed.  My brother, may you rest in peace and thank you for being my friend.

Marco was the first boy to ever tell me he loved me. It’s was a little over thirty years ago, young high school love. We didn’t go to the same school, so we met first over three way landline phone call and finally met face to face at a concert. He was so sweet, caring, and attentive. My dad used to get mad when he called because his voice was so deep, he thought he was an adult male calling for his teenage daughter. 

I still have every mix tape and note and he is to this day, the standard bearer by which I measure how men treat me. Although my heart breaks in an awful pain, I’m blessed that we remained in touch and friends all these years. He will be on my heart always.

We know Mark's mother. Lupe.  If Mark was/is anything like her, this world lost an angel, but Heaven gained one.  Our condolences and deepest sympathies to all who are grieving his loss.  Absent from the body is present with the Lord.  John and Gloria Turner

Marco was our driver in an annual push cart derby. We weren't 1st place, that year we actually won 1 race. Lazy pushers= 1 win many loses but endless laughs

I metI in 1998-99, he was a member of a band that came to my studio to practice.  He was funny, optimistic, talented and shared the same birthdate with me.  We became partners on his request, which I thought was an assertive move, we ruled the scene together, had parties, smoked out, made music, made art, played chess and had long conversations about the spiritual journey we were on and he the meditation he went through as he painted.  He literally gave me clothing, shoes, and inspiration.  He literally gave people the shirt off his back and was a terrific chess player, I only beat him once.  Such an artist, what a wonderful soul he was, I'm blessed to have met Marco.
I will see you on the other side my friend, You and Jesus, because I KNOW IN MY HEART. you  are with him now.

Marco, presenting his work to a New York Curator, Dr Marcus Burke & His wife Dr Linka Burke at his studio at Hausmann Millworks: A Creative Community in San Antonio Texas last Spring. Marco was loved & will be remembered as a great artist, musician and human being.

I was at one of Marco's art show. Marco always influenced me to work on art and music.
