He is preceded in death by his wife, Petra Gil.
He is survived by his children; Raymond Gil (Debbie), David Gil (Lorraine), Gilbert Gil and Mark Gil (Gracie); grandchildren, Roxanne Risher, David Gil Jr., Demiah Gil, Shyenne Gil and Alina Gil; great grandchildren, Jay Risher, Larrisa Risher, Khloe Risher, Taylor Risher and Tyler Risher; sisters, Dora De Leon, Teresa Flores and Elisa Gil; brothers, Adam Gil and Alex Gil; also, numerous nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in First Memorial Park.
