Manuel H. Diaz, beloved brother and uncle, entered rest on April 27, 2013 at the age of 90. A native of San Antonio, Texas he was born to Petronilo and Maria Diaz on August 24, 1922. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nicolasa Salinas; and a son, Joe Diaz. He honorably served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He is survived by his niece, Anna Maria Sauceda; sisters, Mary D. Garcia, Elisa D. Sauceda; 6 children; other numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2013 for a 9:30 a.m. Communion Service at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
