Maggie Rios Rogers, born May 29, 1979 in San Antonio, Texas, passed away on March 21, 2024 at the age of 44. Although her passing was unexpected, we use this time to celebrate her life and cherish the memories She allowed us to have while on this Earth.
In her death, She is united in heaven with her grandparents, Maria Del Carmen Herrera and Hermilo Herrera; aunt, Carmen Aracely Martinez; and uncles, Gilbert Herrera and Javier Herrera.
From heaven, She now watches over her parents, Maria and Richard Soland; beloved husband, Michael Rogers; children, Priscilla Maggie Gale (Nico), Katelyn Renee Montanez, Jeremy Michael Rogers, and Alyssa Sofia Rogers; grandchildren, Ezra Lee Gale, Lyla Rose Gale and Idris Beau Gale; siblings, Frank Rios Jr and Judy Rios; best friend, Sonia Wilson and numerous extended family and friends.
Maggie was beautiful inside and out. She had a sweet, caring, and tender soul, but She was also very honest and strait forward when She needed to be. She made sure with every action She did that her family was taken care of. She was proud of being the best wife imaginable and so much more. With her entire heart, Maggie loved her children above all else. She was a selfless mother, who always put her children's needs before her own no matter what it cost her. She tried her hardest to raise her children to be good functioning human beings; and through time family and friends will see how she definitely succeeded in her main goal in life.
Outside of her time being an amazing wife and mother, She was always up for having fun with the people She loved. She loved discovering new things and going on adventures; whether it be traveling the states with her husband and family or spoiling her kids and family with shopping sprees. To match the strong beat in her heart, Maggie loved to listen to all kinds of music. From freestyle to Tejano, She loved any music She could sing and dance to. Another lifelong passion of Her’s was cooking. She loved to cook and feed those she loved. She found immense joy providing anything for her family and friends, especially food. Throughout her day, She was often found watching her favorite cooking or reality tv shows. Laughing and enjoying each and every moment throughout her day, no matter how mundane or boring it was. Her firecracker attitude will be remembered. We will truly miss you. In her absence, there is a gaping hole in all our hearts. This hole may never be filled, but overtime and through the love of family and friends, we will carry her inside our hearts forever. She will be forever loved, but never forgotten.
A visitation for Maggie will be held Friday, March 29, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211, with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 PM. We urge those who got to experience her throughout life to come and take the time to celebrate her time with us. Although the pain of her absence is still fresh, we will take the time to share stories about the “good times” so that her memory can last forever within us all.
