Lupe S. Rodriguez

Lupe Rodriguez, 84, passed away on October 15, 2021 at home. She was the widower of Mike Rodriguez Sr. They shared 30 years of marriage. She was born in San Antonio, Texas. She was the daughter of Juan and Janie Sanchez.

Lupe graduated from Fox Tech High School. She was a devoted mother, mother in law, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend. She worked at Fort Sam Houston Bank and Express News. She loved to visit family and friends. Or just to take a drive and go and eat. Lupe also, enjoyed sewing, gardening, baking, crocheting, and word finds.

She is survived by her children Mike Rodriguez Jr. wife Leigh Rodriguez, Diane Gonzales, David Rodriguez Sr. wife Dorothy Rodriguez, Lisa Kwasna, predeceased Nancy Rodriguez, Susan Ybarra and husband George Ybarra predeceased sister Lidia Zavala and brother Joe Sanchez wife Sylvia Sanchez. Lupe has seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

A visitation for Lupe will be held Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX with a rosary at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Friday, October 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2114 W Houston St, San Antonio, TX with graveside service following at San Fernando #2 Cemetery, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX.
