Luisa Ramirez

Luisa Ramirez has graciously taken her leave to be with our Lord our God, Saturday morning, June 19, 2021. She was 104 years old, just two months shy of reaching her 105th birthday. Luisa was the daughter of Blasa Perez and Longino Ramirez, born August 19, 1916 in San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by her 5 children, 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren and numerous relatives.

She belonged to St. Timothy Church where she attended daily services. She was an active member of the church senior center. She loved attending birthday parties, family barbeques and dances. She loved to dance, hear music, take photos and play loteria. There was a story for every photo she possessed and loved to share these memories with each of us. We were always amazed on the many details she was able to recount.

Visitation for Luisa will be held at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers on Monday June 28, 2021, with the Recitation of The Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. On Tuesday, June 29, 2021, the funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, with internment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
