Luis Sergio Mercado, M.D. passed away peacefully in his home on June 25, 2014. He is survived by his wife, 4 children, 9 grandchildren, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and numerous family and friends. Dr. Mercado served the Brownsville Community as an OBGYN for over 30 years. After retiring he moved to San Antonio to enjoy his children and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Friday June 27, 2014 at Sunset North Funeral Home in San Antonio, TX.
